King Baby, has selected West Hollywood’s Sunset Plaza for its first standalone boutique jewelry store in Los Angeles. Their distinctive approach to jewelry has proven to be in popular demand by customers worldwide. “All of our pieces are hand-crafted in the U.S.A. allowing us to bring originality and distinctive details to artisan products,” says founder and designer Mitchell Binder.
Located at 8950 West Sunset Blvd. the store is expected to house King Baby’s edgy jewelry and accessories. The interior will include wood, stainless steel, and other raw materials much like the brand’s jewelry itself. “I have been making jewelry in this town for 45 years so this store is a long time coming,” says Binder. “We found this perfect gem on Sunset Blvd. and I cannot wait to showcase my talent.”
King Baby’s collections capture the spirit of Americana with rock n’ roll sex appeal. In the latest collection, The Birth of Americana, Binder has captured the energetic qualities of the Turquoise stone in both the rare and polished forms. “Our Turquoise is one of the rarest in the Southwest and is mined from a limited supply Nevada. Each stone is custom-cut revealing a wide variety of colors making each piece one-of-a-kind,” says Binder. The collection is inspired by the story of survival, persistence, native tribes and the beautiful landscape that gave birth to America.
The Santa Monica based brand has fashion jewelry stores in Las Vegas, Nashville, and Beijing with plans to open stores in New York City and Shanghai, within the year. Besides its jewelry stores, King Baby holds a very strong e-commerce presence, allowing them to bring their high quality jewelry and accessories to customers all over the world.
